Your store should work before your first customer checks out
E-commerce sounds simple until shipping rates, product variants, payment settings, tax rules, and mobile layouts all need to work together.
Honest Web Designs handles setup, design, product uploads, payment configuration, launch testing, and ongoing support so your store looks like your brand and functions correctly.
For a product-focused business, the store platform should usually power the whole website. That keeps your pages, products, inventory, checkout, and customer experience in one place.
Platforms
The right platform depends on how you sell
I will recommend the platform that fits your catalog, payment setup, volume, and budget.
Shopify
Best for product-focused businesses, larger catalogs, complex shipping, and plans to grow.
WooCommerce
Best when you already have WordPress or need deeper custom store behavior.
Square Online
Best for brick-and-mortar businesses already using Square POS and inventory.
Store migrations
Moving from GoDaddy, Wix, Squarespace, or another storefront? Your content, products, domain, and important URLs get a planned path to the new platform.

Common questions
E-commerce FAQ
It depends on how you already sell and where you plan to grow. Shopify is often the strongest fit for product-focused businesses, Square Online can make sense for businesses already using Square POS, and WooCommerce can fit a content-heavy WordPress operation.
Separate systems can mean two designs, two dashboards, duplicated analytics, and more maintenance. When online sales are central to the business, I usually recommend rebuilding the full site in the store platform so customers get one consistent experience.
Yes. I will first review the current platform, catalog, customer data, order history, subscriptions, domain, and indexed URLs. Some data moves cleanly and some must be rebuilt, so migration scope is confirmed before the quote.
Yes. You can handle products, prices, orders, and promotions through the store admin. Training is included, and support is available for more complex updates.
I configure the platform's basic tax settings based on information you provide. I do not give tax or legal advice, so complex multi-state obligations should be reviewed with a qualified tax professional.
